Cottage Profile This three bedroom, 1100 square foot, waterfront cottage is located on beautiful Georgian Bay at "Rush Cove". This area has a natural shoreline and a great view of several headlands that protrude into Georgian Bay. Rush Cove is a small, quiet, scenic resort community sandwiched between the Niagara Escarpment on one side and Georgian Bay on the other. It is within close proximity to the Bruce Trail, Scenic Caves, Boat launch ramp, and is only a short 15 minute drive to all amenities. The cottage has a warm and inviting feeling, and a welcoming interior. The interior is finished in laminate flooring, pine tongue and groove, and a comfortable furnishings. The living area has two comfortable couches, two chairs, as well as a television, VCR, DVD, and CD Player. The centre piece of the living room is an propane fireplace to take the chill off those cool summer nights. Adjacent to the living area is an eat in kitchen with a small dining table that seats four comfortably.There are 2 folding chairs that can be used around the table. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, and microwave. You will also find an island with four bar stools. The cottage has three bedrooms, one queen bed, one double, and two single beds. There is also a three piece washroom with a shower. The deck attached to the cottage provides a nice place to enjoy dinner while catching a cool breeze off of the bay. A BBQ and patio furniture are provided here for your outdoor dining pleasure. There is partial view of Rush Cove from the deck. A short trail leads you from the cottage to the lakeside deck and shoreline. The lakeside deck has some nice muskoka chairs for you to relax in and watch the children play. There is also a firepit here. Sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows and wiener's while listening to the waves lap against the shoreline. The shoreline has a shallow entry and consists of some flat rock and stones. Swim shoes are recommended. As mentioned earlier while sitting on the lakeside deck many headlands can be seen, To the north Gun Point, Cape Chin and Dyers Bay can be seen, and to the south is Montresor Point and Cape Croker can be seen. This is a fantastic view. This is a popular area for kayaking and deep water fishing for salmon and trout. Charters for fishing can be found at the Lion's Head Marina. Access to the cottage is located along a winding scenic road that travels through a lovely hardwood forest and scenic farms. This area is stunning in the fall. This is a great, family-friendly cottage.
