Cottage Profile Lovely old time, 2000 square foot waterfront cottage located on the shores of beautiful Whip-poor-will Bay, on Georgian Bay. This cottage has a nice old time cottage feel with all the comforts of home. The main living area has large glass windows facing the lake, pine paneling and flooring throughout, large stone fireplace, two couches, plenty of seats, a 27 inch television with satellite receiver , DVD and VCR. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with natural wood table and cushioned bench seats. There is a serving window between the kitchen and dining room to pass food between rooms. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, double sink and plenty of cup board and counter space. At the end of the cottage is a large screened in sun room open on three sides, with nice wicker furniture and a great view of the lake. In the main cottage there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. A four piece bathroom with whirlpool tub rounds out the interior description. A nice feature of this cottage is the separate sleep cabin with two bedrooms (one double, one queen) and a three piece bathroom (shower) . There is also a 20 inch television with satellite receiver in this building. The cottage is located on a quiet dead end private road. It is only a 5 minute drive to Lions Head to pick up supplies, go out for dinner or have an ice cream cone. Surrounding the cottage are large perennial and rock gardens, some lawn, trees and stone path down to the lake. One of the main selling features of this property is the 300 feet of flat rock shoreline fronting on beautiful Whip-poor-will bay. By the lake is a large flag stone deck with picnic table and chairs. From the cottage, lake side deck and shoreline you get a fantastic view of the bay and the cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment. On clear sunny days the bay is dotted with sale boats and small boats trolling for salmon and trout. Within a few minutes walk there is great hiking along the Bruce Trail which follows the top of the bluff line and has spectacular vistas. This is a great family cottage.
