Cottage Profile Compact, two bedroom, 900 square foot waterfront chalet located on the shores of Larry's Lake, only 13 km from Tobermory and all the activities that it has to offer. The cottage is located on a large lot at the end of Larry's Lake with many cedar trees on the property. You can witness some of the most breathtaking sunsets directly in front of this cottage, or use the canoe to explore the lake. The cottage has older furnishings and in it's compact living area you will find a couch, chair, woodstove, and nice large windows overlooking Larry's Lake. A television with satellite, DVD player and Nintendo provides entertainment for your family on a rainy day. Just off of the living area is a small kitchen that comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, and oven. A table is located in the living area so that your family can enjoy a meal together. There are two bedrooms on the upper level of the cottage. The first bedroom has a queen bed with a balcony overlooking the lake, and the second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The cottage also has a three piece washroom with a shower. At night you can roast marshmallows over the campfire - the fire pit is located on the lakeside of the cottage. There is also a propane BBQ provided for your outdoor dining. While Larry's Lake is a shallow lake and not great for swimming, the waterfront at this cottage has a sandy bottom, which makes for a good place for small children to splash around. The cottage is located in close proximity to Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park, as well as excellent sand beaches and the Bruce Trail. So you are not far from the many opportunities that exist to enjoy this area, as the scenic village of Tobermory is located just 15 km away. Take a trip into town and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbour. You can also take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular. Many opportunities for outdoor exploration and enjoyment await! Additional amenities include: 1 single, nintendo and games, number of baths: 1, drinking water: well, beds: 2 queens, life jackets (2 adult, outdoor fire pit, floor area: 900 square feet, number of bedrooms: 2, three-piece with shower, deck areas: 200 square feet, 1 child), clothes line, dwelling type: two-storey.
