Cottage Profile Imagine yourself sitting around a campfire watching the sunset on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. The Burasari cottage is located on sheltered Warner Bay on Lake Huron, minutes away from the enchanting settlement of Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula National Park. The cottage is situated on a dead end road and offers privacy. The cottage has been decorated with a “cottage chic” look by the owner. Originally built in the 1950s, the cottage has been updated with modern conveniences but kept its classic charm with a natural pine ceiling and wood flooring. The open concept living room and dining room have an electric fireplace, along with a couch, futon and two chairs perfect for curling up to read a book or enjoy the view of the lake. There is also an oak dining table which seats 6 comfortably. For your enjoyment there is a TV with satellite, DVD player and iPod player (iPod not included). The cottage has 2 bedrooms, both with queen size beds. There is also a futon in the living room which can also be used as a double bed. A separate “bunkie” with a queen size bed offers additional privacy. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The bathroom contains a shower, sink and toilet. A 250 square foot deck is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The area in front of the deck is grassy and suitable for children to play on. Oversized Muskoka chairs and a natural rock fire pit await you on the beautiful limestone shoreline. The shoreline consists of flat rock and is great for swimming (water shoes are recommended). The scenic village of Tobermory is 11kms from the cottage. While in town you can stroll around the shops or sit on a patio and enjoy a cold drink and some delicious locally caught whitefish. Perhaps you would rather take a relaxing boat cruise to view two of the many shipwrecks surrounding Tobermory. The boat trip would not be complete without stopping for a few hours on Flower Pot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun ferry are also very popular. For the hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the Bruce Peninsula National Park is your wonderland. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment, swimming at the Grotto, hiking a portion of the Bruce Trail and scuba diving services are all available within a short distance.
