Cottage Profile Lovely 1500 square foot, three bedroom waterfront cottage located on the spectacular shores of Dyers Bay. Everywhere you look is natural wood, from the cathedral ceilings with their exposed pine logs, to the pine paneling and flooring and furniture made out of locally milled pine. The main living area is bright and airy, with large windows on three sides providing a panoramic view of Georgian Bay. The centre piece of the living room is a large stone fireplace, surrounded by comfortable furniture. At one end of the living room is a large harvest table and chairs and a breakfast bar with three stools. In the centre are two couches and two comfortable rocking chairs. At the opposite end is a television with satellite and a card table with four chairs - the perfect place to enjoy the indoors after a day of outdoor exploration. Also in this space large sliding glass doors lead out to a south facing, covered deck with a great view of the lake. If you prefer more sun exposure there is a second open deck facing the lake. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and a breakfast nook with two tables and chairs. The kitchen comes equipped with stove, refrigerator, and microwave. On the road side of the cottage is a bathroom and three bedrooms. Bedroom One has a Queen, Bedroom two has a Double bed and a single bed, Bedroom three has a set of single bunkbeds. There is also a three piece bathroom in the cottage. The cottage lot is relatively flat beside the road and slopes towards the water in front of the cottage. The shoreline consists of a pebble beach too the waters edge and flat limestone shelves once in the water. This is an excellent area to swim. Water shoes are recommended. This area has some of the cleanest water in Ontario. Note: there is some poison ivy along the shoreline. The cottage is also located only 5 km from the famous Lark Whistle Gardens. For those who like to hike, the Bruce Trail is located 3 km away and provides some of the most spectacular hiking in North America. For cyclists, the area has great road riding along paved roads or you can follow the spectacular shoreline road to Cabot Head Lighthouse. This is a 10 km ride along a road that is squeezed in between the 150 foot cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment and the waters of Georgian Bay. For 80% of the road there is no development on either side. Tobermory and Lion's Head are only a 20 minute drive from the cottage. Additional amenities include: frontage: 140 feet of shoreline, number of baths: 1three-piece, wireless high speed lite internet, beds: 1 queen, dwelling type: one-storey cottage, living area: 1700 square feet, deck area: 500 square feet, drinking water: well, outdoor fire pit, 1 set of single bunkbeds, 2 fold up lounge chairs, 4 chairs, number of bedrooms: 3, 1 double, 2 kayaks, 1 single, patio furniture (patio table, two decks, 2 muskoka chairs).
