Cottage Profile Conveniently located, three bedroom cottage just a minute walk from the activity of the town of Tobermory. Big Tub Harbour is just a short walk from the cottage, and a public access known locally as "the GAP" is a great place for experienced swimmers to enjoy the water, or to take in a sunset. The main living area of the cottage is a comfortable place to relax after a busy day of hiking the trails, or enjoying a boat tour. A couch, loveseat and chair provide seating for everyone in the group to unwind and enjoy the Television and VCR. Two large windows help create a bright space. The eat in kitchen at the cottage has all the amenities necessary including fridge, stove and microwave. The kitchen table here seats 6 comfortably. For additional table space, there is a small room adjacent to the kitchen with small table and two chairs. This is the perfect place for a game of cards, or a puzzle. There are three bedrooms at the cottage. Two bedrooms are located on the second storey of the cottage. Bedroom one has two doubles, bedroom two has one double. A third bedroom is located on the main floor, with a queen sized bed. The one bathroom at the cottage is also on this main level, and is a four piece with both shower and bath. A mud room at the back of the cottage is a great place to store your scuba equipment or lawn games. Outside of the cottage there is a small yard at the front of the cottage for children to play on, and it's a great place to people watch. This cottage allows you to enjoy the proximity to the Tobermory Harbour and leave your car parked in the driveway instead of fighting to find somewhere to park downtown. In the scenic Village of Tobermory you can stroll through the shops, visit the library, experience the restaurants and take in the beautiful natural harbour.You can also take a boat cruise where you view shipwrecks, and also visit lighthouses on Flowerpot Island. Sunset dinner cruises to Manitoulin Island aboard the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry are also very popular and last about 2 hours. For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the Bruce Peninsula is a dream! A 10 minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment, or the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Bruce Peninsula National Park also offers many programs through their Visitor's Center and Cyprus Lake Campground. Whatever your interests, you're sure to be content in Tobermory!
